"Lynn Hannay came to Belmont school on Remembrance Day and spent the day working with years 3 to 8 on the subject of WW1 and remembrance.
All workshops were very well run- all children were engaged throughout with practical sessions. All of the activities were exceptionally well planned and delivered. All levels of ability were catered for and every child meaningfully worked towards a creative outcome.
There was plenty of stimulation to ensure follow-up activities in successive lessons throughout the curriculum could take place. Lynn was actively involved in the activities. It was an excellent and thought provoking day. Lynn then accompanied years 7 and 8 on a visit to the WW1 galleries at the Imperial War Museum.
